So this morning, I walked into my cubicle and heard harsh remarks about the clutter on my desk. Like Seinfeld’s Newman, the full extent of the Janitor’s name is not known. He even refers to himself as simply “Janitor” (except on occasion when he calls himself “Dr. Ján ?tor”). A later episode reveals his nametag simply says “The Janitor.”

In the Season 8 finale, the Janitor tells J.D. that his name is Glenn Matthews. However within moments a staff member addresses him by a different name, leading the audience to question the legitimacy of “Glenn Matthews.”

Never has a syndicated television series made us drool over business office supplies quite the way Mad Men does. We’re so excited for Season 4, which premiered last night!
